Houston Canterbury represents the college campus ministry of the Episcopal Church, dedicated to serving public colleges and universities across Houston and throughout Harris County.

We embody a community of college students that is characterized by love, liberation, and life-giving interactions. Central to our approach is the reverence for Scripture, interpreting it within its proper context. Our worship is grounded in faithfulness, and our service is carried out with joyful hearts. We provide a safe space for meditation and encourage the exploration of challenging questions, free from judgment. Embracing God's boundless love, our focus is on healing rather than using doctrine to inflict harm. We wholeheartedly celebrate and support LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as affirm scientific advancements.

Our commitment lies in fostering exploration rather than enforcing rigid beliefs. We strive for justice and healing without undermining other faith traditions. We aspire to be the kind of Christian community that resonates with your own ideals and expectations.
