Houston Canterbury's Advisory Board has four committees. Those committees comprise 5-8 people each, including students and non-student board members (faculty, alumni & church members). On all committees, students take the lead on planning, organizing, and executing events, etc., and non-student board members provide support, advice, encouragement, and constructive reflection. Committees meet once per month, nine months per year, for 1 hour each, except for occasional special events. Each group will work with the three others regularly as needed. Meetings will begin in June 2023. 

The committees are:

Communications: Assists & facilitates digital communications, information sharing and advertising both within Houston Canterbury and externally. 

Events: Manages Houston Canterbury events including service, fellowship, meals, speakers, etc. 

Finance: Oversees Houston Canterbury's budget & spending, and takes the lead on grants, fundraising and scholarships.

Worship & Formation: Plans, organizes and helps lead worship services, prayer, and Christian formation/education opportunities.
